Who We Are

Reform Contracting is a licensed and insured full service construction company located in Northwest Arkansas. We pride ourselves on being a design + build firm that specializes in custom homes, renovations, and additions for both residential and commercial construction projects.

We strive to build above the current industry standard. Our level of quality and our attention to detail is non-negotiable. Our objective is to ensure our projects become timeless pieces of the Northwest Arkansas landscape.

A well curated design has the potential to enhance our daily lives. Good design, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail can turn a house into a home. It’s our job to assist you in taking a concept and turning it into a reality. There is no job too big or too small for Reform Contracting.

Lucas Cooper // Owner

I always see beauty in the creation process. I was drawn to building from a very young age. I founded Reform after years of working long hours as a laborer in the construction industry. I have worked on framing crews, in a cabinet shop, as a furniture builder, a handyman, and a project manager. Through these experiences I have acquired an extensive knowledge and skill set that has become the foundation to how I manage the construction process.

I believe a house is much more than a status symbol or a way to protect its inhabitants. When designed properly a house has the potential to inspire. A house can be a place where family, friends, and neighbors can interact and escape the fast paced world around them. My goal is to help create a space that will bring out the best in a person.

Layne Beller // Operations Manager

I have a long love of the building and design industry. Starting a construction company at 19 years old, and self performing the majority of the work, has given me an opportunity to develop the confidence needed to take a project from start to finish. For me the entire process of construction starts as an opportunity to serve a customer through transparency. Building is my source of creativity. I never shy away from design challenges. My ultimate goal is to create an environment that is timeless and will encourage culture, community, and memories.

John Ruskin, a leading Victorian art critic, once identified the build environment as encompassing 7 key principles:

sacrifice, truth, power, beauty, life, memory, and obedience. Those are the principles I strive to breathe into every project I’m privileged to be a part of.
